Wayne Wilson is a founder and a Managing Director of Gordius Consulting. He has more than 14 years of experience in public accounting, consulting, and finance.

Wayne provides international consulting services and expert testimony to his clients throughout the world with a focus in accounting and finance within the energy industry. He has assisted clients in Eastern Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, North America, Central America, and South America.

Wayne’s services include: damages calculations; valuations; lost profits analyses; SEC investigations, fraud investigations, and other regulatory and internal inquiries; general forensic accounting and regulatory accounting; SEC financial reporting for international entities; interpretations of international accounting standards; international energy regulations; complex financial modeling; financial derivative analysis; risk management; internal control processes; overall organizational design; forensic analysis of management decision making; joint venture contract audits; off-balance sheet structure analyses; structured financing transaction reviews; and due diligence.

Prior to founding Gordius Consulting Wayne led the international arbitration support practice at a major international consulting firm.

Wayne earned his bachelor's degree in accounting from Cameron University and received his master's degree in accounting sciences from the University of Illinois, where he studied international accounting and finance. He has also completed three years of post-graduate coursework in finance, accounting and econometrics. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed to practice in the State of Texas.
