Sandra Weisbrod is a Manager with Gordius Consulting in Houston, Texas. She specializes in international and domestic investigations, arbitration, and energy litigation, with a focus on the resolution of international disputes, financial forensic examinations, and commercial litigation.

Sandra brings more than 14 years of energy industry expertise to the firm. She has assisted clients with risk management, contract audits, trading organization development, due diligence and financial analysis, preparation of reorganization plans, litigation support, and project management. In addition, Sandra has advised on accounting systems, fraud detection procedures, and business development.

Prior to joining Gordius Consulting Sandra spent two years leading energy related litigation support teams in the Dispute Analysis & Forensics business unit at Alvarez & Marsal LLC, in addition to six years as a Senior Consultant and Project Manager in the energy services sector. Sandra has also served in executive and management roles in asset optimization, logistics, and energy trading functions.

Some of her recent notable assignments include: assisting a large, high-profile energy company in a dispute involving retroactive tax liabilities claimed by the Russian government; assisting a non-regulated domestic energy marketing firm in a dispute involving Force Majeure performance; valuation of oil and gas energy assets; evaluating gas royalty procedures for a major production company; and assisting in an international dispute involving a breach of contract in a merger in the Russian oil industry.

Sandra earned her bachelor's degree from The Pennsylvania State University.
